Este año, en Primaria, hemos celebrado el Día de Acción de Gracias con nuestros alumnos a través del valor de la amistad y la gratitud de todo lo que tienen (familia, amigos…). Se han realizado manualidades, juegos y presentaciones. Nuestros auxiliares Stefanie, Nate y John les han explicado como lo celebran en sus países, juntándose con sus familias y las comidas típicas que hacen ese día.

In Primary this year Thanksgiving was celebrated through friendship and art. In first grade, we had the pilgrims and Native Americans exchange decorated hearts to show gratitude for the friends we have in our lives. In second grade, we learned to barter like the Native Americans and Pilgrims did when they first arrived in America. We made very creative turkeys with materials that were exchanged between the students. In third and fourth grade, we discussed things we appreciated in our lives and made gratitude turkeys.  In fifth and sixth we did a jeopardy game, pin the pilgrim hat on the turkey , a power point presentation and we asked the students what they were thankful for.
